Mary Douglas has been working with real estate since 1971 when she accepted her first job at the Title Company in Denver, CO.

With over 33 years in the industry, the majority of time in Fort Collins, CO, Mary gained an in depth knowledge of how real estate is described and transferred, following chains of title back to the United States Patent. She understands easements, rights of way, mineral reservations and knows where to look in the County records for information to help her buyers make informed decisions about a property.

As the Office Manager she interacted daily with Escrow officers, Title officers, Lenders, Real Estate Agents and Attorneys to resolve complex closing and title issues involving residential and commercial transactions.

After leaving the Title Company in 2007, Mary obtained her Real Estate license and now works with Ponderosa Realty Associates in Red Feather Lakes, CO. 

In addition, Mary, together with her husband of nearly 40 years physically helped build their 2 homes from the ground up and flipped another – providing great insight into the construction process and building regulations in Larimer County.
